Training using coronary artery model

At Toyonaka Municipal Hospital, JMC conducted a simulation experience using a coronary artery model for training young physicians of cardiovascular internal medicine, instructors, and initial resident physicians. One physician who had never performed a cardiac catheterization procedure commented, "I was able to a get a good understanding of the challenge in manipulating the catheter." A physician who has experience in actual coronary angiography commented that "I wish I could train on this every day".
